After a summer of outdoor classes, it’s time to go back indoors as we settle in for the autumn months. There’s Tai Chi in Stoke Newington from September 10th, and Kung Fu in Euston from September 19th. Here’s the details…
Tai Chi Tuesdays from September 10th: We’re back at at the Methodist Church on Stoke Newington High Street for the Traditional Tai Chi class on Tuesdays 7-9pm. This class features the Secret Transmission Wudang 36-step Tai Chi form, stretching, standing meditation and partnerwork. As part of the basic skills in the first hour of class, we’ll also be looking at Five Element Qi Gong.
Prices:
– £10 one-off trial class
– £15 per class for full 12-week term = £180
– £20 per class for block of 6 drop-in classes = £120 (use in autumn term only)
– £25 one drop-in class.

Kung Fu Thursdays from September 19th: Tai Chi and Kung Fu classes in Euston will be at a new location this term, at The Place on Euston Road. This dynamic dance studio has beautiful wooden floors and wall to ceiling mirrors and is 3 minutes from Euston station. We’ll be working out and calming down as we train the 18-step Wudang Fist with solo, partner and group work in this hour-long class which starts at 6.30pm.

– £15 one drop-in class
– £12 per class for a block of 4 classes = £48 (use in autumn term only)
– 20% discount for concessions
– discount for those enrolled in full Tuesday term.
Daytime classes: Meanwhile daytime classes continue at Core Clapton on Thursdays with Tai Chi and Qi Gong for mobility at 11-12 noon.
Weekend Workshop: There is a Qi Gong workshop this Sunday 8th September 11-12 noon at Walthamstow Wetlands. It should be a beautiful morning by the lakes, tickets are available through the Wetlands website.
