Welcome to Wudang Pai Tai Chi GB, My name is Lucia or 袁微容 (Yuan Wei Rong), I am a 16th Generation Descendant of the Wudang Clan and I teach Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Wudang Kung Fu and Wudang Sword from the Wudang Xuan Wu Pai curriculum.

I offer both online and in-person classes on daytimes and evenings and also teach weekend workshops in parks around Hackney in London. There are classes dedicated to complete beginners as well as options for more experienced students. You can find out more about Tai Chi & Qi Gong and how they can help you on the about page, and a full list of classes is available here. You can find out about the upcoming online Qi Gong workshop with Master Yuan Li Min here, and details of the UK Tai Chi retreat in June can be found here.

For those unable to make those classes, you can train in your own time using my online tuition series, a video introduction to this is below; it includes a brief account of my story and teaching style. Private lessons are a good way for making swift progress in the arts, and a special rate is available for weekday daytimes. If you are looking to relieve stress in your office, you can find out more about my corporate Tai Chi classes here. To be kept informed on the latest events, please sign up to the newsletter at the bottom of the page.

I started studying Tai Chi in 2002, and met my shifu Yuan Li Min at his school on the Wudang Mountains, China in 2006. Since then I have spent a total of around 2 years training with him full time in Wudang, and return there most years to study or take my students on retreats. In order to deepen my understanding of Tai Chi I learned Mandarin, and dived deeply into the Taoist Philosophy of balance and harmony. To hear more about my story, check out this article from Tai Chi Union magazine. For a short visual introduction to my Tai Chi journey and teaching style, check out the video below.

If you would like to attend a class, workshop or retreat, or have questions about any aspect of the Wudang style, you are welcome to get in contact. Meanwhile, I hope that you enjoy the site!
