Hello and Happy New Year everyone. Term starts again from 8th January in Stoke Newington, with Thursday daytime classes in Clapton starting on the 10th, and the first weekend workshop on 2nd February.
In the Tuesday evening classes we’re at the beginning of the 36-step Wudang Tai Chi form. To make the most of this quiet time of year, as well as the usual basic skills for strength, flexibility and inner power, we’ll be doing a guided meditation to help relax inside the body and increase sensitivity to internal energy.
For the Thursday daytime Tai Chi for Mobility classes, we are looking at a simple 13-step Tai Chi form known as the 13 Tai Chi Principles. As for the monthly weekend workshops, this year we will be training the 13-step Tai Chi form, which has a mix of fast and slow movements. A Tai Chi retreat in Malaga is also on the horizon.
